Biannual Conference MODEST 2012

7th Conference MoDeSt 2012 on modification, degradation and stabilization of polymers

Dear Colleague,
May we gently remind you that the Short Abstract Submission deadline 3 March, 2012 is fast approaching.
You are welcome to submit title of your contribution and a short abstract (maximum 800 words). After the short abstract is submitted, there is still the possibility to edit it on-line.

The conference aim is to provide a forum for polymer scientists and engineers to present and share their state-of-the-art knowledge on polymer modification, degradation and stabilization and related areas. The topics will cover new findings on polymer degradation processes including their heterogeneity, newly developed efficient stabilization systems, development and applications of nanostructured polymer materials, environmental aspects of polymer applications, and development of advanced materials for medical and technical applications. Proposals for oral and poster presentations are welcomed and can be submitted through the conference web site. Awards for the best poster presentations will be made by the MoDeSt Society.
